Family Bike Tour 2012

Last year we did a family bike ride from Cologne to Worms, and this year, surprisingly, the kids wanted to do it again! Surprisingly, as last year throughout the trip we heard a number of complaints and therefor thought for sure this would not be a lasting tradition.
So, with the encouragement of all in hand, Petra planned another trip, albeit more challenging this time. More riding days, more kilometers, and (many) more vertical meters.
The trip (below) turned out to be more ambitious than it looks on paper, but more on that later...
