Parking with your phone!

Now this is a good idea. There is a new service available in Cologne that allows you to pay for your parking fee with your phone. It's called "CallPark"

How many times have you stood at a parking meter and did not have the correct change in coins to pay for your parking fee? You were left with the choice of either driving somewhere else to find a some change, and hope that the parking space is still there when you returned, or you could risk it. But, risking it is becoming much more expensive, as cities throughout the world are increasingly strapped for cash and are search for new revenue sources.

So, now you can simply make a quick call with your mobile phone, and your parking fees are taken care of. Very easy. I like it!
