Some more motivational ramblings

Continueing on from my ramblings a few days ago, i just remembered this graph that i found some time ago.  I found it on the follow Headrush page. Fundamentally it also explains what happens to employees that are not given some level of freedom to pursue their responsibilities as they see best.  Some bosses not only communicate what needs doing, but then proceed on to explain exactly how to do, when to do it, with what tools and perhaps even at what hour of the day.  In some instances they go on to explain how to spell things on documents that you create.  This type of A-typical behavior drives exactly what the Zombie function shows.  What's worse, it goes a long ways of demotivating the workforce....along the lines of "hey, let the boss do all the thinking, he likes it"...
